Impact Day in Tallinn
Sustainability Content Agency is nu ambassadeur van Impact Day, het grootste impact- en duurzaamheidsevenement in de Baltische staten en Scandinavië. Vorige week, van 10-12 oktober, was ik er in het prachtige Tallinn voor het eerst bij. Het werd voor de derde keer georganiseerd en het hoofdthema van dit jaar was 'Less Is More'.

Our aim is to be a one-stop shop serving the content needs of sustainable companies. ESG reporting is about disclosing information relating to an organization’s operations and risks in three key areas: environmental stewardship, social responsibility and corporate governance. ESG reports are becoming increasingly important as customers want to figure out whether their cash will be supporting a company whose values align with theirs. The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is also transforming ESG reporting: as of 2024, this is mandatory for almost 50,000 companies, including non-EU organizations that have subsidiaries operating within the EU or are listed on EU-regulated markets. And while it is not yet mandatory in the US, for example, this is likely to change in the near future. SCA is an initiative from MdR Text Bureau (also the legal entity), which has been active in the content and translation industry since 2008. SCA is a new initiative launched by MdR Text Bureau, which has itself been established since 2008. Our main focus is on creating premium sustainability content in different forms.
After taking care of so many translation projects relating to sustainability in Dutch, interviewing people within the industry for Contentway, reading countless news articles and insights about companies that are inventing sustainable solutions or making their business greener, driving a car on biogas, eating vegan and — currently — studying Sustainability Science, starting this new initiative was inevitable.

We are calling this an initiative rather than a new company or spin-off because we will be focusing solely on working with remote linguistic specialists — who are also experienced sustainability content creators — and won’t be employing people in the typical sense. We are here to help companies that care about the planet and to make sure your brand message comes across in the most sustainable way.
